THE VALEY CHAOS

LIVE from 12z to 1430z 

We are back with yet another challenging event! Paro is classified as one of the most dangerous airport in the world. This 90-minute flight takes us high into the alps as we manoeuvre our way through twisting valleys and make an approach and land on the short runway strip. Paro airport is surrounded by mountains as high as 5500 metres and only has a single runway of length 1964 metres. Paro airport is such a difficult airport to land in that it can only be used in visual meteorological conditions and operational hours are restricted to daylight hours between sunrise and sunset.

Event Time: 1200z to 1430z.
Airports: Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (VECC) - Paro International Airport (VQPR)

• Arrival: VQPR- Paro, Bhutan

• Flight Time: 1hr 20mins approax

• Suggested Air Route: AGODA R472 RAJ R598 BOGOP

• All pilots are kindly requested to:

    > Have a VALID SID and STAR!
   > Be prepared - Have access to charts.
   > Be ready - You may be asked to enter holds, fly directions, and speeds.
   > Simulating emergencies is not allowed during the event!
   > Remember - Aviate, Navigate, Communicate.
   > Maintain radio etiquette.
